After first reveal of the Android Instant Apps platform at the occasion of Google I/O 2016 , Google is now bringing this new feature to public . Though it's initial rollout is available only for few apps But soon this feature will be available for dozens of apps and games .

What Are Instant Apps?

Instant Apps are the next step in app evolution, a universal Android solution that brings the speed and power of a native app with the ease and immediacy of a web app. They look and operate just like one of the apps that are installed on your phone, but you don’t need to download anything .

So Instant Apps don’t live on my phone?

Correct. Using an Instant App is similar to browsing to a web page. Once you close the window, it disappears.

Are there any limitations?

Yes and no. Instant Apps don’t have any technical limitations, and developers can deliver things like account signup, purchasing, and videos, just like they would in a regular app. However, Instant Apps can be specifically targeted, so a developer could choose to deliver a certain portion of their app to a user at a specific time. That would effectively “lock” the rest of the app until the user decided to download the full version.

Do I need to be online to use Instant Apps?

Like Progressive Web Apps, Instant Apps can be designed to work online, but some features would be accessible only when connected to a network.

Can any phone run them?

Pretty much. Google says phones going all the way back to Jelly Bean can run Instant Apps, though some phones may not be capable of displaying them.

Do I need to set up anything to use them?

You need to enable Instant Apps for your account on your phone. Head over to your Settings app and find your Google Account settings. Scroll down to Instant Apps, flip the toggle on, and tap Yes I’m in on the next screen.

How do I know I’m using an Instant App?

Well, the point is that you’re not supposed to know when you’re running an Instant App. They launch just like a regular app would, and offer the same experience. But there are a couple of telltale signs. For one, most Instant Apps will include a link to download the full app at the top of the screen. Also, if you’re in a browser when you open an Instant App, the address bar will disappear when you click an "Instant" link.

How do I find an Instant App in the Play Store?

When you visit an app page that has an Instant App companion, there will be a Try Now button. Tap it and you’ll be taken directly to the instant app.

WhatsApp Introducing New Update About Live Location Sharing For Android And iPhone

First Telegram , And Now WhatsApp ( Owned by Facebook ) is introducing Live Location Sharing in their Messenger , It has been in Beta launch before but now after successful test company is planning to release this new feature for the user . The feature was recently introduced by competitor Telegram, and lets users share their location in real-time with family or friends.

Did you ever had a thought of tracking your friend's activity or your loved ones' , whether they are commuting, or share your location with friends when you are heading to a meetup, all thanks to WhatsApp's Live Location feature.

Apart from being simple to use, the new feature is secure as well. WhatsApp claims to have end-to-end encryption with Live Location and even lets users control, who they share their location with and for how long they want to do so.
How does it work? In a chat window, click on the attachment icon (represented by a paper clip) and tap on 'Location' like you usually do. Unlike before, you will now see a new option to 'Share Live Location'.
Upon tapping on 'Share Live Location' the user then gets a pop up as for how many minutes or hours they would like to share their Live Location for. Then simply tap the Send button like you usually do.

Once sent to a individual chat or a group chat,  you will now see a rich preview appear in the chat area with you display picture showing up in a bubble on the map along with the time limit as to when the Live Location will expire. Tapping on the thumbnail will open a Live Location page, revealing your Live Location to your friend.
At the bottom of that rich preview, will also be a Stop Sharing button, in case users change their mind and want to stop sharing urgently, before the set expiry time.
WhatsApp says that if more than one person shares their Live Location in a group chat, all locations will be visible on the same map.
Live Location feature is a server side update, so expect the feature to roll out gradually to users. The feature will be added to both Android devices and Apple iPhone in the coming weeks.
Telegram had recently, updated its app with a similar feature just a week ago. It also introduced a redesigned in-app audio player, and a new translation platform for Telegram apps.

Uber PREMIER ride for Bengaluru

 

After a successful launch of Uber PREMIER in Mumbai and Pune last month , Uber has launched this service yesterday in Bengaluru . It's an upgrade to their previous service #UberX which was promising towards affordable fair along with a better experience .

 

The PREMIER option will offer rides in select, high-comfort, economy-range sedans, best-in-class driver partners endorsed by riders and customers will be extended enhanced customer support for better post-ride experience.

Only the Drivers who have completed 1000+ trips in their Uber career and have been acknowledged by riders via the Driver Compliments feature and ratings can get the Premier Service .

Company claims that Premier will have drivers who have 40% shorter pickup time than the predicted arrival time.

PREMIER will join the current range of POOL, GO and XL in the economy-plus and premium segments. Uber will offer selected riders in Bengaluru an early access to PREMIER.

One Plus 5 Not In Stock , What Does It Mean ?

Just four months ago a masterpiece came in market #OnePlus5 and suddenly the company decided to put it Out Of Stock , Proof can be seen on company's website where they have put it to the state of No Stock in many countries .

In some countries like UK even the Buy button has been completely disabled or removed from preventing new customers to apply for it . As of now INDIA is the only country where OnePlus5 is currently available but not for too long .

Reason is still unknown though we can guess that it's because of the new upcoming model which is more promising to the satisfaction of customers #OnePlus5T or #OnePlus6 but there's a catch as this act was all of sudden it can be due to the rise in customer complaints against OnePlus5 .
